How to Lead or Care for Others without Losing Yourself

Do you take care of others over the physical and emotional needs of your own well-being? Are you driven by perfectionism and unrealistically high expectations of yourself or from others? Because this is an issue affecting so many, here is a second post with a guided audio meditation and a release process to help you take care of yourself as a caregiver.

This is for caregivers of aging parents, professional caregivers, leaders responsible for teams and organizations, parents, teachers, friends, and anyone who is in a circumstance that requires they give care – as well as those who unconsciously create situations that require they become caregivers.

The role of leader and/or caregiver can create incredible stress. The level of stress is dependent on your unconscious self perception and beliefs about your role in this world. In coaching sessions we dissect and uproot these imprisoning perceptions, but here is a five minute audio support to listen to at any time.

In this short audio I will walk you through to the other side of the stress that can come with not being mindful of your own needs and well being.

I suggest you take this moment devoted just to you. Find a comfy chair or a self-loving place. Use earphones if you have them. Allow these words to permeate every cell. At the end, allow a few moments to turn inward and rest, if it feels right.
